Main use within the scope of application
This testing machine is mainly used for measuring the impact toughness of non-metallic materials such as hard plastics (including plates, pipes, plastic profiles), reinforced nylon, fiberglass, ceramics, cast stones, and electrical insulation materials. Widely used in the chemical industry, scientific research institutions, and quality inspection departments in colleges and universities.

operational principle
Use a pendulum with known energy to strike a sample supported by a horizontal beam, and the sample is destroyed by a single impact of the pendulum. The impact line is located in the center of the two supports, and the energy absorbed by the sample during failure is determined based on the energy difference between the pendulum before and after impact. Then, calculate the impact strength of the sample based on its original cross-sectional area.
