Building and insulation materials are increasingly widely used in various engineering projects, and these materials have a series of thermal physical properties. When conducting thermal calculations, these thermal properties are often involved. In order to make the calculations accurate and reliable, it is necessary to correctly select the thermal physical indicators of the materials to match their actual usage. Otherwise, no matter how accurate the calculation formula is, the results obtained will still have significant differences from the actual situation. The thermal and physical properties of materials are influenced by many factors, such as their chemical composition, density, temperature, humidity, etc. Among them, humidity has a significant impact on materials. However, in practical use, due to various factors such as climate, construction moisture, production and usage conditions, materials often contain a certain amount of moisture, which will lead to a decrease in their insulation performance. So, this issue must be considered in thermal calculations. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately determine the thermal and physical properties of materials in a moist state.
The TCXR-3 thermal storage coefficient tester produced by our company has computer acquisition, control, and data processing functions. The characteristics of this instrument are: simple device, high accuracy, fast testing speed (about ten minutes per test). It can simultaneously measure the thermal storage coefficient, thermal conductivity, thermal conductivity, and specific heat of the material in one test, and can also measure the thermal physical properties under different moisture conditions. Application scope
This instrument is suitable for measuring the thermal storage coefficient, thermal conductivity, thermal conductivity, and specific heat of homogeneous plate and powder materials under dry or different moisture conditions. The thermal conductivity of the tested material ranges from 0.035 to 1.7w/m.k (or 0.03 to 1.5kcal/m.h ℃), and the thermal storage coefficient ranges from 0.1-30W/M ² K.
Basic Principles
This instrument is based on the principle of unstable thermal conductivity. It heats the experimental material for a short period of time, causing a change in the temperature of the experimental material. Based on the characteristics of the change, the thermal storage coefficient, thermal conductivity coefficient, thermal conductivity coefficient, and specific heat of the experimental material can be calculated by solving the thermal conductivity differential equation.
